Heritage Lincolnshire commissioned a stunning digital reconstruction of the Knights Templar church and preceptory. The reconstruction includes the video below and a set of still images. It may have been completed over ten years ago, but I have only found it. This may be the only digital reconstruction of a Templar round church that has been completed. It is a beautiful sight, and how wonderful it would have been to experience it first-hand. It contrasts quite sharply with the Temple church in London, which was heavily restored and is now similar to most Anglican churches with plain, drab stone interiors. This reimagining is so bright and with some colour. How close to the original it is, I do not know.
The Heritage Lincolnshire website has all the pictures, including the one below and the video. The website is a treasure trove of information for anyone interested in historic Lincolnshire.

Heritage Lincolnshire is no longer managing the Temple Bruer site. Lincolnshire County Council now manages it.
